OMFG... *headdesk*
GIVE ME BACK V5 DEVIANTART!

What the hell is your problem DA?! This ugly new layout is HORRIFFIC!

Seriously, subscribers should have seen all the so-called "improvements" they've put in, and all its done is make the site about a bazillion times harder to get around.
I DON'T want to see the 120 stupid new arts that people have just put up. I want the 8 channels I had beforehand!!
I DON'T want a combined 'message center' that makes responding to people more of a mission, than something to enjoy.
I DON'T want my toolbar (username, messages, etc) at the top of the screen, making things even more annoying to get to!
I DON'T want this new 'Footer' that is a apparantly a so called destination on its own. LEAVE ME ALONE, I JUST WANT TO BROWSE WITHOUT YOU ADMINS BUGGING ME!!
And lastly, I DON'T want a site that takes even longer to load than it does now! Not everyone has utopian-like internet acess, and NZ sure as hell doesn't match international internet speed standards.

This doesn't mean I'm going to leave yet, though. Yet being the keyword. I've too much invested here to warrant a change in sites just now. But I AM SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF.
At the very least, we should have an option in our preferences as to whether we use the V5 or V6 styles.
But jeez... every time they pull a stupid stunt like this, the option of moving to a personal website looks more and more attractive. At least I'd be in charge of when I want to change my layout, and in light of recent projects... that could happen...

I've siad it before, and I'll say it again. Get your act together, DA!

I mind v6 but I do agree with the no channels on front page and as well as for me the messages for new deviation are not nicely in member order like in v5.
As for the footer, you can hide the it by clicking the those two arrow buttons on the top right corners.
